We started in one of the world's finest hospitals, Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences (AIMS), Kochi, India, a 1300 bed facility including 210 comprehensively-equipped intensive care beds, a reference diagnostic Clinical Laboratory including advanced Molecular Biology and Cytogenetics Labs, and a state of the art Diagnostic Imaging Center. Today Amrita HIS is known as a world class, top of the breed solution for hospitals and health care networks of any size across the world.

Ron Gottsegen is the Chairman of Amrita Ventures and has been instrumental in driving the growth of Amritamedical. Ron has been a serial entrepreneur, a pioneer in the field of security systems and privacy software. He has over 30 years of experience founding and managing exceptional companies. Ron also served as the Administrative Director for a large tertiary care 1400 Bed Hospital, where he was instrumental in adopting healthcare automation and streamlining operations.
President
Mukesh Gandhi, President, Amrita Ventures is a serial entreprenuer who has built several global companies in the technology arena. Mukesh earned his PhD from The University of Michigan. He was awarded numerous contracts and grants to undertake pioneering research from National Science Foundation, Army Research Office, Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency, NIST and several Fortune 500 Companies.
COO
Pradeep is the brain behind Amrita HIS (Amrita Hospital Informatics Suite), a complex ERP application covering clinical, administrative and financial areas, developed by Amrita. His experience in developing operating system level software has led to the design and development of Health Care Middleware Operating System, a patent pending technology for Amrita. His primary research inclinations are in Bioinformatics. He has also guided several research projects.
VP (Product Development)
Praveen has extensive experience in supply chain and ERP technologies, having worked at several global companies including i2 Technologies, where he helped customers streamline operations and adopt best practices. Praveen has earned his B.Tech engineering degree from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi (IIT-D) in Mechanical Engineering after which he completed his higher studies in Industrial Engineering at Ohio State University, USA, topping the 1994 batch of MS industrial Engineering students.
VP (Global Marketing & Strategy)
Sumeet has extensive experience in online and mobile ecommerce platforms, CRM platforms, customer acquisition and retention strategy, payment methods and customer data management. Sumeet has led eCommerce and Marketing groups in various Fortune 500 organizations including American Airlines and Symantec Corporation. He served on the board of the Open Travel Alliance, guiding innovations and technologies in the Travel Industry. Sumeet has an MBA from the University of Maryland, a B.E. in Electronics and holds the PMP and CFA certifications.
